Galaxy S7 Active is a little bit better than the LG G6, with a 75.8 score against 75.6. Even being the best in this review, the Galaxy S7 Active is an older, a lot thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone than the LG G6. The Galaxy S7 Active has a little sharper screen than LG G6, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better pixel density.
The LG G6 features a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have the same internal storage, the LG G6 also has a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG G6 counts with a little faster processor than Galaxy S7 Active. They have a Quad-Core CPU and 4 GB of RAM.
LG G6 counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the LG G6 also counts with a back facing camera with more megapixels. Galaxy S7 Active features longer battery lifetime than LG G6, because it has a 21 percent larger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G6. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy LG G6, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
