The Sony Xperia 5 II is better than the LG G6, having a general score of 87.2 against 75.6. The Sony Xperia 5 II construction has the same weight and thickness than the LG G6. LG G6 features a bit more vivid display than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2880 resolution and more pixels per inch in the display.
Sony Xperia 5 II features a bit superior CPU than LG G6, because it has a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Xperia 5 II takes much better videos and photos than LG G6, because although it has a camera in the back with less MP resolution and a worse 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a way bigger sensor providing a much better image quality and a bigger diafragm aperture.
The Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than LG G6, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Xperia 5 II features improved battery duration than LG G6, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G6. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia 5 II, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the LG G6, letting go some features and specs.
