Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is just a bit better than the LG G6, getting a overall score of 78.6 against 75.6. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's construction is newer than LG G6's, although it is a lot heavier and somewhat thicker. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has the older 8.0 Oreo version and LG G6 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Xperia XA2 Plus features a bit better performance than LG G6, because it has a larger number of cores and 2 GB more RAM. The LG G6 has a bit sharper display than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater count of pixels per inch in the display and a higher 1440 x 2880 resolution.
LG G6 counts with a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. Xperia XA2 Plus counts with just a bit longer battery duration than LG G6, because it has an 8% greater battery capacity.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus shoots slightly better videos and photos than LG G6, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low light photos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also counts with a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back camera with way more MP.
