The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than LG G6's 75.6 score. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a a little heavier device than LG G6, but they are equally thin. Both phones in this comparison include Android OS, but Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has the older 5.1 version and LG G6 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a much better screen than LG G6, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 3840 x 2160 resolution and a greater display pixels density. The LG G6 has a much greater memory for apps and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage, the LG G6 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G6. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, otherwise you can save some money and get the LG G6, resigning a couple specifications.
