Both phones in this comparison review include Android operating system, but the Galaxy A8 Star has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and LG G7 One has Android 10, so it offers a lot of extra features. The Galaxy A8 Star construction is heavier but a bit thinner than LG G7 One, and they were only released with a couple of months difference.
