The Galaxy A8 Star has a global score of 82.1, which is just a bit better than LG G7 ThinQ's overall score of 81. These phones include the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system). Galaxy A8 Star's design is just a little bit thinner but heavier than LG G7 ThinQ, and both were only released with a couple of months difference.
The LG G7 ThinQ counts with a way better looking screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a better display density.
