Comparison review
The LG G7 ThinQ is just a bit better than Xperia XZ2, having a global score of 81 against 79.1. The LG G7 ThinQ body is incredibly thinner and lighter than the Xperia XZ2, even when both were released with only a few months difference. The LG G7 ThinQ has a sharper screen than Xperia XZ2, because it has a higher amount of pixels per inch in the display, more brightness, a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a quite larger display.
LG G7 ThinQ counts with a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the LG G7 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG G7 ThinQ and the Sony Xperia XZ2 feature incredibly similar processors, both have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 takes slightly better videos and photos than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and video, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also counts with a much bigger camera sensor taking way higher quality photos and videos and a more mega pixels camera.
Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with a little better battery performance than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has a 3180mAh battery capacity.
