Comparison review

The LG G8 ThinQ is a little bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, getting an 84.3 score against 84.2. These phones have Android OS, but the LG G8 ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version while Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has Android 14. LG G8 ThinQ's design is lighter and just a little thinner than the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, even though it was released 5 years before.

Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a little more vivid screen than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a lot lesser pixels per inch in the display and a much lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a bit larger screen and way more brightness. The LG G8 ThinQ has a much more powerful processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro shoots a lot better videos and photos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a way smaller aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures, it also counts with a lot better video resolution, a much larger sensor capturing lot higher quality photographs and videos and a camera in the back with a lot better resolution.

Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a slightly bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a way better battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 5500mAh battery size instead of 3500mAh.
