LG G8 ThinQ has a global score of 84.3, which is just a bit better than the Huawei P20's 78.1 general score. Both phones in this comparison review work with the same Android 9.0 Pie operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that. Although the LG G8 ThinQ is newer than the Huawei P20, it's a bit heavier and just a little bit thicker.
The LG G8 ThinQ features a little faster processing unit than Huawei P20, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The LG G8 ThinQ features a much better looking screen than Huawei P20, because it has a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, a little bigger display and more pixels per inch of screen.
The LG G8 ThinQ shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Huawei P20, because although it has a tinier sensor taking less light and dull colors, and they both have a 12 mega-pixels back-facing camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a larger diafragm aperture and better 60 fps video frame rate.
The LG G8 ThinQ counts with much more memory for apps and games than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG G8 ThinQ has a bit longer battery life than Huawei P20, because it has a 3500mAh battery size.
LG G8 ThinQ is not only the best phones in this comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest.
