The LG G8 ThinQ is slightly better than Moto Z4, getting an 84.3 score against 79.8. These phones come with Android operating system, but LG G8 ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Moto Z4 has Android 10, so it gives you some extra features and better performance. LG G8 ThinQ's body is thicker and a little heavier than the Moto Z4.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with just a little better hardware performance than Moto Z4, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a larger amount of RAM. LG G8 ThinQ features a better looking display than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher screen pixel density and a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution.

Motorola Moto Z4 has a superior camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier camera aperture and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, the Motorola Moto Z4 also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a camera with way more MP.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto Z4, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Motorola Moto Z4 has a bit better battery duration than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
