Comparison review
The LG G8 ThinQ has a score of 84.3, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A12's general score of 80.3. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but LG G8 ThinQ has 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy A12 has Android 10, offering lots of additional features and performance tweaks. Despite of the fact that the LG G8 ThinQ is older than Samsung Galaxy A12, it's body is somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner.
LG G8 ThinQ has a way better screen than Galaxy A12, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher screen density and a way higher resolution of 1440 x 3120. The LG G8 ThinQ has a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A12, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy A12, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy A12 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a lot tinier camera aperture which is not good for low light images and videos and slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also counts with a camera in the back with lot more MP.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 has a much longer battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
