The Galaxy A71 5G is slightly better than LG G8 ThinQ, getting a overall score of 91.8 against 84.3. These phones come with Android OS, but Galaxy A71 5G has the previous 11 version and LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy A71 5G's design is newer and a little thinner than LG G8 ThinQ's, although it is also just a bit heavier.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A71 5G, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen and a better 1440 x 3120 resolution. The LG G8 ThinQ features just a bit better performance than Galaxy A71 5G. Both have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM memory.

Samsung Galaxy A71 5G features a lot better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G also counts with a back-facing camera with much more MP and a lot larger sensor.

LG G8 ThinQ features more storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A71 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Galaxy A71 5G counts with greater battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy A71 5G is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G8 ThinQ. If you are trying to save some money, you can get LG G8 ThinQ, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
