The Samsung Galaxy A80 has an overall score of 84.9, which is slightly better than the LG G8 ThinQ's score of 84.3. Despite being the best we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy A80 is a thicker and much heavier phone than LG G8 ThinQ. The LG G8 ThinQ has a better display than Galaxy A80, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater count of pixels per inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A80, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A80, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy A80 has a bit better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a much tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A80 also counts with a much bigger sensor shooting lot higher quality photos and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
