Comparison review

Galaxy Note9 is a little bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ, getting an 87.1 score against 84.3. The Galaxy Note9 is an a bit thicker and somewhat heavier device than the LG G8 ThinQ. The Galaxy Note9 and LG G8 ThinQ count with extremely similar CPUs, they have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM memory.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit better number of pixels in each inch in the screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 3120. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 captures slightly better photographs and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same video quality, the same aperture and the same resolution back camera, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note9, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. Galaxy Note9 features a bit superior battery performance than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G8 ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note9, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G8 ThinQ, resigning some specs and features.
