LG G8 ThinQ is slightly better than the Xperia 5, having a general score of 84.3 against 81. Despite being the best device in this review, we must tell that it is also a just a bit heavier and just a little thicker device. The Xperia 5 and LG G8 ThinQ count with very similar CPUs, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with a much better display than Xperia 5, and although they both have a same size screen, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a better 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution and a greater display pixels density. The LG G8 ThinQ shoots slightly better videos and photos than Sony Xperia 5, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a same resolution camera and the same sensor size, the LG G8 ThinQ also has better video frame rate and a bigger aperture.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia 5, and although they both have equal internal memory, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG G8 ThinQ features just a bit better battery life than Xperia 5, because it has an 11 percent bigger battery capacity.
In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the LG G8 ThinQ is also a lot cheaper.
