LG G8 ThinQ has a global score of 84.3, which is just a bit better than Xperia XZ2's 79.1 score. The LG G8 ThinQ is a newer cellphone, and it's also lighter and extremely thinner than Xperia XZ2. LG G8 ThinQ features a bit more powerful processor than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has more RAM.
LG G8 ThinQ has a slightly better looking display than Sony Xperia XZ2, because although it has less brightness, it also counts with a higher display pixels density, a little bigger display and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 takes clearer pictures and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a much smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also counts with a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a lot more mega-pixels back camera.
