Comparison review
The LG G8S ThinQ has a global score of 82.5, which is slightly better than Galaxy A12's 80.3 overall score. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but the LG G8S ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy A12 has Android 10 version. LG G8S ThinQ's body is somewhat lighter and thinner than Galaxy A12, even though it was released around 18 months before.
LG G8S ThinQ counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The LG G8S ThinQ counts with a much better display than Galaxy A12, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1080 x 2248 pixels resolution and a greater display density.
The Galaxy A12 has a bit better camera than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate and a smaller aperture which is worse for taking images in low light environments, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy A12 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot higher 48 mega-pixels resolution.
LG G8S ThinQ features a much better storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A12, because it has 128 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Galaxy A12 features a much longer battery performance than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
