Comparison review
LG G8S ThinQ is a little bit better than the Xperia 5, having an 82.5 score against 81. The LG G8S ThinQ body is just a little bit thinner but just a little heavier than Xperia 5, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. The Xperia 5 counts with a bit more vivid screen than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2520px and a quite greater display density.
LG G8S ThinQ counts with a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia 5, and although they both have equal internal storage, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xperia 5's CPU is very similar to the LG G8S ThinQ one, they have 8 processing cores and the same RAM amount.
LG G8S ThinQ has a bit longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 3550mAh battery capacity. LG G8S ThinQ shoots clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light photos and videos, and they both have a 12 MP resolution back-facing camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the LG G8S ThinQ also counts with higher video frame rates.
