LG G8S ThinQ is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, with an 82.5 score against 76.4. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but LG G8S ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. LG G8S ThinQ's construction is notably newer and just a little thinner than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's, although it is somewhat heavier.
LG G8S ThinQ counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and more cpu cores.
