Although it's the best cellphone in this review, Asus ROG Phone II is a thicker and noticeably heavier cellphone than LG G8X ThinQ. The Asus ROG Phone II has a little sharper display than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a just a little lower pixel number per screen inch, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Asus ROG Phone II also counts with a bit bigger screen.
The Asus ROG Phone II has a slightly better memory for games and applications than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. Asus ROG Phone II features a bit better processor than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ROG Phone II also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Asus ROG Phone II features a much better battery duration than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity. Asus ROG Phone II shoots much clearer videos and photos than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the same 60 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Asus ROG Phone II also has a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels and a much larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
