LG G8X ThinQ has a score of 82.7, which is slightly better than Google Pixel 2's 81.6 general score. Even though LG G8X ThinQ is much newer than the Google Pixel 2, it is a little bit thicker and a lot heavier. LG G8X ThinQ counts with a bit better performance than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG G8X ThinQ also has more RAM.
The Google Pixel 2 features just a bit better looking screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a really smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 1920, it also counts with a quite higher display density. LG G8X ThinQ features a slightly better camera than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a lower (4K) video definition and a lesser megapixels resolution back facing camera, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the LG G8X ThinQ also counts with a larger sensor providing a better image quality.
The LG G8X ThinQ has a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. The LG G8X ThinQ counts with a much longer battery duration than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Although LG G8X ThinQ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 2. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the LG G8X ThinQ, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 2, resigning a couple specs and features.
