Comparison review

LG V50 ThinQ has a general score of 83.7, which is a bit better than the LG G8X ThinQ's general score of 82.7. Both of these devices include the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect. The LG V50 ThinQ design has the same thickness than the LG G8X ThinQ, but it is just a little lighter.

LG V50 ThinQ's processing unit is very similar to the processing unit in LG G8X ThinQ, both have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. The LG V50 ThinQ features a bit better screen than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a higher display pixels density.

LG V50 ThinQ counts with just a bit better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a tinier camera sensor shooting lower quality images and videos, and they both have the same video frame rate, a same resolution back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the LG V50 ThinQ also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light images.

LG V50 ThinQ features as much storage for applications and games as the LG G8X ThinQ one, they have exactly the same internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG V50 ThinQ's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery performance in LG G8X ThinQ.

Although LG V50 ThinQ is a better device, it costs a bit more money than LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G8X ThinQ. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the LG V50 ThinQ, otherwise you can save some money and get the LG G8X ThinQ, giving up some features and specifications.
