Samsung Galaxy M31 is just a bit better than the LG G8X ThinQ, having an 86.5 score against 82.7. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy M31 has 11 version while LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10 version, providing you some nice extra features. Samsung Galaxy M31's body is just a bit lighter but a bit thicker than LG G8X ThinQ, and both were released with only a couple of months difference.
The Galaxy M31 counts with a little bit better display than LG G8X ThinQ. They have a display with the same size, the same pixels density and an equal resolution of 1080 x 2340px. LG G8X ThinQ features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M31. Both have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM memory amount.
LG G8X ThinQ counts with a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M31, because it has an external memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy M31 features a much longer battery duration than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
The Galaxy M31 captures much clearer pictures and videos than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same video definition and a same size diafragm aperture, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a back camera with a much higher resolution and a way larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
