The LG G8X ThinQ has a score of 82.7, which is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia 5's global score of 81. Although it's the best in this review, LG G8X ThinQ is a heavier and just a bit thicker phone than Sony Xperia 5. The Xperia 5 features a bit more vivid screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2520 resolution and a bit greater number of pixels in each display inch.
Xperia 5 and LG G8X ThinQ count with similar CPUs, both of them have 8 processing cores and 6 GB of RAM memory. The LG G8X ThinQ features a bit better camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light photography, and they both have a same resolution camera and the same (4K) video quality, the LG G8X ThinQ also counts with higher video frame rate and a larger camera sensor taking better quality pictures.
The LG G8X ThinQ counts with a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia 5, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the LG G8X ThinQ also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG G8X ThinQ features greater battery performance than Xperia 5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3140mAh.
Even being the best phone in this comparison, LG G8X ThinQ is also very cheap compared to the other phones.
