The LG G8X ThinQ has an overall score of 82.7, which is slightly better than Xperia XZ1's global score of 78.3. The LG G8X ThinQ construction is a lot newer than Xperia XZ1's, but it's heavier and somewhat thicker. LG G8X ThinQ has a bit more powerful processor than Sony Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG G8X ThinQ also has more RAM memory.
Xperia XZ1 counts with a display that's very similar to LG G8X ThinQ's display, because although the Xperia XZ1 has a quite smaller display and a quite lower 1080 x 1920px resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of screen. LG G8X ThinQ features a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB, the LG G8X ThinQ also has 128 GB internal memory capacity.
LG G8X ThinQ features a really longer battery life than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. Xperia XZ1 has a little bit better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has slower video frame rate and a smaller camera aperture which is not good for low light photos, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a camera with way more mega-pixels and a bigger back camera sensor taking better quality photos.
Even being the best phone in this comparison, LG G8X ThinQ is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
