LG Velvet is a lot better than the LG GU295, getting an 87.1 score against 35.6. The LG Velvet design is notably thinner but extremely heavier than LG GU295. The LG Velvet has a way better looking display than LG GU295, because it has a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2460, a lot larger screen and a way better pixel amount per display inch.
The LG Velvet has a much faster processing unit than LG GU295, because it has a greater number of cores. LG Velvet features a very superior camera than LG GU295, because it has a lot more mega pixels camera in the back. LG Velvet counts with a very superior memory for apps and games than LG GU295, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB.
LG Velvet counts with a way better battery performance than LG GU295, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity against 900mAh.
The LG Velvet costs a bit more money than LG GU295, but you can get a much better phone for that few extra dollars.
