The Xperia L has a global score of 58.3, which is a bit better than the LG L35's 53.2 global score. Xperia L's construction is thinner than the LG L35, but it's noticeably heavier and was released around 14 months before. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Xperia L has the previous 4.2.2 version and LG L35 has Android 4.4.2.

LG L35 features just a little better processing power than Sony Xperia L, although it has less RAM memory and a slower GPU working at 400 megahertz, they both have the same number of cores. The Xperia L features a little sharper screen than LG L35, because it has a much higher resolution of 854 x 480px, more pixels per inch of display and a really larger screen.

Xperia L captures greater pictures and videos than LG L35, because it has a back camera with a lot higher resolution and a much better (HD) video quality.
