Asus ZenFone 5 is just a bit better than the LG L40, getting a 56.9 score against 52.6. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 4.4 OS. Asus ZenFone 5 counts with a brighter display than LG L40, because it has a lot better resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a much higher count of pixels per screen inch and a lot larger display.
Asus ZenFone 5 counts with a much greater storage for applications and games than LG L40, because it has a SD card slot that holds up to 64 GB and more internal storage capacity. The Asus ZenFone 5 features a bit better processing unit than LG L40, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ZenFone 5 also counts with a greater amount of RAM.
Asus ZenFone 5 features better battery duration than LG L40, because it has a 2110mAh battery size against 1540mAh. Asus ZenFone 5 captures much better photographs and videos than LG L40, because it has a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Asus ZenFone 5 is also very cheap compared to the other phones, making it an obvious call.
