Xperia Ion is just a bit better than the LG L50, with a general score of 61.3 against 55.8. The Xperia Ion construction is thinner but just a little bit heavier than the LG L50. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia Ion has the previous 4.1.2 version and LG L50 has Android 4.4.2 version.

LG L50 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Sony Xperia Ion, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG L50 also counts with a graphics processor. The Xperia Ion counts with a bit sharper screen than LG L50, because it has a little larger display, a better count of pixels per display inch and a way better resolution of 1280 x 720.

Sony Xperia Ion has much more memory capacity to install applications and games than LG L50, and although they both have a SD extension slot that supports up to 32 GB, the Sony Xperia Ion also has more internal storage capacity.
