LG L50 Review

LG L50 is a nice phone, having a great Dual-Core processor running at 1.3 gigahertz, a 4 inches multi touch capacitive screen, and 2 cameras, a 3 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front-facing camera. Let's take a better look at what this device can give us.

LG decided to power this cellphone with an extremely fast 1.3 GHz Dual-Core CPU, included in the MediaTek MT6572 chip and only 512 MB RAM memory which is a bit poor comparing with the LG L50's awesome CPU. Graphic calculations often eats a lot of CPU cycles, so it also also has an ARM Mali-400 GPU running at 500 megahertz to take some work out of the processor. This cellphone counts with a 4 GB internal storage memory, a moderate quantity that should be enough for most users considering that this phone also has an SD card slot to store songs, photos and videos and even some games and apps that allow external memory installation.

LG designed the LG L50 with a good looking 4 inches display, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , which makes it hard to see the pixels composing the display. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

The LG L50 has two cameras, a 3 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. It is capable of filming videos in 800x480 at 30 frames per second. This camera also includes lots of useful characteristics: flash, auto-focus, fast burst mode, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

This phone uses a 1900 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion removable battery that can keep this phone running for some hours, although you will need to charge it even after moderate usage. This cellphone has an aproximate 100 hours stand by time and a 4 hours talk time.

This cellphone offers Wi-Fi connection (but it can't share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ 4G connection type, that is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and 3G fast data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The LG L50 uses a SIM card for GSM networks.

This cellphone also includes a wide range of great features like NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your device close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth devices, computers and accessories), GPS Navigation and Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

LG is offering this phone for $ 249, which is a very high price for a phone this level. It doesn't matter whether you want a cellphone to majorly use social networks or are looking for a cellphone for playing games, you will definitely be very pleased with this phone.
