Samsung Galaxy Nexus is a bit better than the LG Nitro HD, having a global score of 65.5 against 62.6. Although Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the LG Nitro HD were released only a couple of months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus design is just a little bit heavier but thinner than the LG Nitro HD. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has 4.3 version and LG Nitro HD has Android 2.3.5 version, so it gives you a couple additional features.
LG Nitro HD features a little sharper screen than Galaxy Nexus, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1280 x 720 resolution, the LG Nitro HD also counts with a just a little greater count of pixels per inch of display. The LG Nitro HD counts with a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Nexus, although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, they both have the same number of cores and a 1 GB RAM memory.
Galaxy Nexus features a much greater storage for games and applications than LG Nitro HD, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity. LG Nitro HD has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Nexus, because although it has slower video frame rates, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the LG Nitro HD also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low light photos and a back facing camera with a lot better resolution.
LG Nitro HD features a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Nexus, because it has a 1830mAh battery capacity.
