The HTC Evo 4G LTE has a general score of 64, which is a bit better than the LG Optimus 3D MAX's 58.3 score. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but HTC Evo 4G LTE has the newer 4.0.3 version while LG Optimus 3D MAX has Android 2.3.6. Although the HTC Evo 4G LTE and the LG Optimus 3D MAX were released with only 1 months difference, the HTC Evo 4G LTE is a little bit thinner and a bit lighter.
HTC Evo 4G LTE features a bit better performance than LG Optimus 3D MAX, although it has a worse GPU running at 400 megahertz, they both have 2 processing cores and a 1 GB RAM memory. The HTC Evo 4G LTE features a little bit better screen than LG Optimus 3D MAX, because it has a better pixel number in each inch of screen, a little bit bigger screen and a way better 1280 x 720px resolution.
The HTC Evo 4G LTE features much more storage for applications and games than LG Optimus 3D MAX, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the HTC Evo 4G LTE also has 16 GB internal storage capacity. The HTC Evo 4G LTE features better battery duration than LG Optimus 3D MAX, because it has a 2000mAh battery size instead of 1520mAh.
HTC Evo 4G LTE captures greater photos and videos than LG Optimus 3D MAX, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality, the HTC Evo 4G LTE also has a much better 8 MP resolution camera in the back.
In addition to being the best phone in this comparison, the HTC Evo 4G LTE is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
