LG Optimus 3D MAX Review

LG Optimus 3D MAX is an interesting phone launched many years ago, featuring a medium sized 4.3" touch-screen, an extremely powerful 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processing unit, and two cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. That's all? Not at all, it's just the introduction of a detailed review.

LG decided to equip this phone with a TI OMAP4430 system chip, including a very fast 1200 MHz Dual-Core processing unit with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a bit low comparing with this cellphone's powerful processing power. Graphic calculations usually consume a lot of processing time, so it also has a PowerVR SGX540 graphics processing unit clocking at 304 MHz to take some work out of the processor. An interesting aspect of this phone is its quite large 8 GB internal storage memory and a slot for external memory cards, which allows the user to store hundreds of apps and games without any problem.

Apparently LG decided not to care so much about the weight in this 5.22 oz phone. Being just 0.38" thick,this cellphone is incredibly slim and good-looking. This cellphone is for sale in color black.

This phone is equipped with a good level 4.3-inches screen with a 800 x 480 resolution, giving this cellphone a good level image quality. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This phone features WiFi connection (which it can share with other devices around, acting as a modem or router), 4G (HSPA+) internet connection, which is not as fast as LTE-A or LTE networks and fast 3G connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card for GSM services.

This phone is equipped with two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera. It is capable of capturing videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD). In addition, the camera has some nice characteristics: auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.

This phone comes with a medium capacity 1520 mAh Li-Ion removable battery providing this phone with a not very long battery duration. This device has an estimated 422 hs stand by time and a 4 hs talk time.

This phone also includes many great features such as Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth devices, computers, and accessories), GPS Geolocation and Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

LG is offering this phone for 370 dollars, which is a high price for comparing with similar devices. The LG Optimus 3D MAX is definitely a good choice it doesn't matter whether you need a phone to play lots of games or will use it mainly for internet broswing and social networks.
