Samsung Galaxy A7 Review

Samsung Galaxy A7 is a very complete Android cellphone launched in January 2015, coming with a really big 5.5 inches multi touch screen, an extremely powerful Octa-Core CPU (actually, it has a Quad-Core speeding at 1.5 gigahertz and another Quad-Core speeding at 1 GHz), and 2 cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back side camera and a 5 mega-pixels front facing camera.

This cellphone is quite a compact phone, taking into consideration it packs a 5.5" screen and it's only 5.94" long and 3 inches wide. This cellphone is incredibly thin and stilized, being just 0.25 inches thick. Talking about its body design materials, this device is mostly created with Metal. Samsung is offering this cellphone in three different colors, blue, white and gold. Samsung did an amazing optimization job making this phone weight just 4.97 ounces.

Samsung packed this cellphone with a great 5.5" screen, and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD), giving this cellphone a great graphical experience. Its screen uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

Samsung equipped this phone with a very fast 64 bits Octa-Core processor (as a matter of fact they are really a Quad-Core clocking at 1.5 GHz and a Quad-Core ticking at 1 GHz), bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 8939 system chip with a large 2 GB RAM. Graphic intensive applications and games usually uses lots of processing power, so the A7 also also has an Adreno 405 graphic processing unit clocking at 500 MHz to unload the CPU. A nice feature of the A7 is the 16 GB quite big internal storage memory and an SD extension slot, enough to store a couple hundred applications without any problem.

The A7 is equipped with two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back camera and a 5 megapixels front side camera. This cellphone also films videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second. In addition, the camera has a couple of interesting characteristics: flash, auto-focus, HDR mode, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

The A7 offers Wi-Fi connectivity (which can be shared with other devices as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G high performance internet connection and also HSPA+ data connection, which is a bit slower 4G type and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The A7 comes with two Nano SIM cards to be able to to use two different phone numbers or carriers in the same cellphone.

This cellphone also includes a couple of interesting characteristics such as NFC, Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth cellphones and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone may not be a great choice considering it is offerred for 360 dollars, and other similar phones can be found for less money. No matter if you will use it to play games, want a social phone, want a work device or you love taking photos, this cellphone is definitely a good choice .
