Galaxy S6 is much better than the Galaxy A7, having an 87.3 score against 75.4. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S6 has newer 5.0 version and Galaxy A7 has Android 4.4.4, providing some nice extra features and improved performance. Even though Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy A7 were only released with a couple of months difference, the Galaxy S6 design is a little bit lighter but a little bit thicker.
Galaxy S6 counts with just a bit better display than Galaxy A7, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels density and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution. Galaxy S6 has a much bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy A7, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy S6 features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A7, and although they both have 8 processing cores and a 64 bits processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also has a higher amount of RAM memory and a faster 650 MHz graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy A7, because it has a way better 3840x2160 video resolution and a more MP camera in the back.
Galaxy S6 and Galaxy A7 have incredibly similar batteries performance, although the Galaxy S6 has just 2550mAh battery capacity against 2600mAh.
Galaxy S6 is a bit more expensive than the Galaxy A7, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
