Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Galaxy Note 3 has a newer 5.0 version and Galaxy A7 has Android 4.4.4, so it offers some extra features.

Samsung Galaxy A7 features a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the Samsung Galaxy A7 also counts with a little greater amount of pixels in each inch in the screen. Galaxy A7 has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processor, a better 500 megahertz graphics processing unit and 4 more processing cores (but slower).

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 shoots greater videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A7, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also has a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition. Galaxy Note 3 has a much better storage to install games and applications than Galaxy A7, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 3 also has more internal memory.
