Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Review

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a very high quality phone launched in September 2013, including a 2300 megahertz Quad-Core CPU, a really big 5.7-inches capacitive display, and two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 2 MP front facing camera.

Whereas this phone is only 5.95" long, it's able to fit a a 5.7" display. This device has a wonderful design, with a thickness of just 0.33". This phone is sold in three color options, black, pink and white. Samsung did a very nice design job making the Note 3 weight only 5.93 ounces.

This phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 system chip, including a high speed Quad-Core processor running at 2300 megahertz and a huge 3 GB RAM. To handle graphic calculations, it also counts with a 450 MHz Adreno 330 graphic processing unit. A great point of this cellphone is its large 32 GB internal memory and a slot for an external memory card, allowing you to store lots of applications, games, songs, photos and videos without even thinking about filling the phone.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 2 MP front camera. Although it's 13 MP might appear incredible the back-facing camera sensor size is quite small which makes photos have less details and worse lighting than they should. It can also shoot 3840x2160 4K videos at 30 fps, and slow motion videos in 1280x720 (HD) up to 120 fps (4 times slower ). This camera also has a high number of amazing features: flash, fast burst mode, auto-focus, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization, smile detection shooting, HDR mode and geo tagging.

This cellphone is equipped with a beautiful 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) 5.7" screen, which makes everything look brightful and colorful. Its screen uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features Wi-Fi capability (which can be shared with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) fast data connection and also HSPA+ data connection, a lower speed 4G network and 3G fast connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a Micro SIM card to use GSM services and it can use both GSM and CDMA carriers.

This device also includes lots of useful characteristics as Wireless charger compatibility, NFC (Near Field Communication), Infrared Blaster, Bluetooth (for communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

This cellphone counts with a 3200 mAh big Li-Ion replaceable battery, enough to provide this cellphone with a great battery life. Samsung reports a talk time of 25 hours and a stand by time of 528 hs for this device.

Samsung is selling this phone for $ 365, which is not very cheap for comparing with other similar phones. No matter if you will use it as a social cellphone, want it for work, want a cellphone to play games or are an amateur photographer, you will definitely love this phone.
