Samsung Galaxy A7 Review

Samsung Galaxy A7 is an impressive Android cellphone released in 2015, provisioned with a very powerful 64 bit Octa-Core processing unit (they are really a Quad-Core speeding at 1500 MHz and a Quad-Core speeding at 1000 megahertz), a 5.5-inches multi-touch screen, and two cameras, a 13 MP back camera and a 5 mega-pixels front side camera.

This device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 8939 system chip, including a very fast 64 bit Octa-Core processing unit (although they are really a Quad-Core speeding at 1.5 GHz and another Quad-Core ticking at 1000 MHz) with a great 2 GB RAM memory. Graphic intensive tasks often consume a lot of processing time, so it has an extra Adreno 405 graphics processing unit running at 500 megahertz to help with that calculations. A nice point of this phone is its 16 GB quite big internal memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, which allows you to store a couple hundred games and applications without any trouble.

Talking about its construction materials, this cellphone is mainly created with Metal. Samsung made a great design job making this phone weight just 4.97 ounces. Being just 0.25 inches thick,the Samsung Galaxy A7 is very thin and good-looking. This cellphone is a very compact phone, taking into account that it packs a 5.5 inches display and it is just 5.94" long. The A7 is sold in 3 color options, blue, white and gold.

The A7 features two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 5 MP front facing camera. It is also able to film 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 30 fps. Additionally, this phone's camera also has some useful features: flash, auto-focus, HDR mode, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

Samsung designed this phone with a high-tech 5.5" display, and a 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution, making everything look amazing. This display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This phone provides wi-fi connectivity (which it can share with other devices around, acting as a modem or router), 4G (LTE) fast data connection and also HSPA+ data connection, that is a lower speed 4G type and 3G fast internet connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This device uses a Nano SIM card for GSM carriers.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 has a large 2600 mAh Li-Ion non-removable battery, enough to provide this device with an extremely long battery duration. An issue to take into account is that this phone's battery isn't removable so you can't change it when it begins to lose capacity, although with such a huge battery size you will probably discard this phone before that becomes an issue.

This phone also comes with some interesting characteristics as NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your phone close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Localization, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone may be a little expensive considering it is priced $ 362, and some similar cellphones are being sold cheaper than that. This phone is probably the correct choice for you no matter whether you need a work cellphone, are looking for a gaming phone, want this cellphone mostly for internet broswing and social networks or you love taking pictures.
