Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 81.8, which is a bit better than Galaxy A7's overall score of 75.3. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has newer 5.0 version while Galaxy A7 has Android 4.4.4 version, so it provides you a couple additional features and enhanced performance. Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy A7 were released with only a few months difference, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge construction is just a bit lighter but also somewhat thicker than Galaxy A7.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a little bit better screen than Galaxy A7, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels density and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A7, and although they both have a 64-bit processor and a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a faster graphics processing unit running at 650 MHz and 1 GB more RAM memory.
Galaxy A7 has a slightly bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 64 GB. The Galaxy S6 Edge's battery duration is very similar to the battery lifetime in Galaxy A7.
The Galaxy S6 Edge takes a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A7, because it has a better 16 MP resolution back facing camera and a lot better (4K) video quality.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge not only is the best phones in our comparison, but it's also the cheapest one, which makes it an easy decision.
