Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S5 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A7, having a score of 78.2 against 75.3. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S5 has a more recent 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy A7 has Android 4.4.4, so it gives you a couple additional features. Although it's the best phone in our current comparison, we must note that it's also extremely thicker and a little bit heavier.

The Galaxy A7 has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM and a 500 megahertz graphics processor, the Galaxy A7 also has 4 more processing cores and a 64-bit processor. The Galaxy S5 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy A7, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of screen and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Galaxy S5 features a greater camera than Galaxy A7, because it has a better resolution back-facing camera and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition. The Galaxy S5 has a slightly better storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A7, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy S5 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.

Galaxy S5 has a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy A7, because it has an 8% bigger battery capacity.

The Galaxy S5 is a little more expensive than Galaxy A7, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
