Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a newer 5.0 version and Galaxy A7 has Android 4.4.4 version, counting with a couple additional features.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a bit better looking display than Galaxy A7, because it has a quite bigger display, a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a higher count of pixels per inch of screen. Galaxy Note Edge counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A7, because although it has a 32-bits processor instead of 64-bits and a lower number of cores (although they are faster), and they both have a 500 MHz graphics co-processor, the Galaxy Note Edge also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory.

The Galaxy Note Edge has a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy A7, because it has 32 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A7, because it has a much higher video resolution and a more mega pixels camera in the back.
