The Galaxy S6 has an overall score of 87.3, which is much better than the Galaxy A7's 75.3 general score. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS, but the Galaxy S6 has 5.0 version while Galaxy A7 has Android 4.4.4 version, giving you some extra features. The Galaxy S6 design is a bit lighter but a bit thicker than Galaxy A7, and both were only released 3 months apart.
Samsung Galaxy S6 has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A7, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 64 bits CPU, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also has more RAM memory and a better GPU working at 650 MHz. Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy A7, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Galaxy S6 shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A7, because it has a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back camera with more megapixels. The Galaxy S6 has a superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy A7, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage.
The Galaxy S6's battery lifetime is just as good as Samsung Galaxy A7's battery lifetime, although the Galaxy S6 has a 2% lower battery capacity.
Galaxy S6 costs a bit more money than Samsung Galaxy A7, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
