Comparison review
The LG Q70 is just a bit better than OnePlus 8, getting a 77.9 score against 76. LG Q70 is an a bit heavier and just a little bit thicker cellphone than the OnePlus 8. The OnePlus 8 features a sharper screen than LG Q70, because it has a little bit larger display, a quite greater pixels density and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The LG Q70 counts with a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 8, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The OnePlus 8 features a little bit better processing power than LG Q70, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 has a bit better battery performance than LG Q70, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. The OnePlus 8 has a better camera than LG Q70, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a same size camera aperture, the OnePlus 8 also has a way higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera, better 60 frames per second video frame rate and a much larger camera sensor.
LG Q70 costs a bit more money than OnePlus 8, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
