Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is a little bit better than LG Q70's overall score of 77.9. Both phones we compare here include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has 9.0 Pie version while LG Q70 has Android 10. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star construction is a little bit lighter and a little thinner than LG Q70, despite of the fact that it was released just a little more than a year before.
The Galaxy A8 Star counts with a bit better CPU than LG Q70, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy A8 Star also has more RAM. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a display that's very similar to the LG Q70 one, although the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a quite smaller display, a bit lower pixels density and a quite lower 1080 x 2220px resolution.
The LG Q70 has a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the LG Q70 also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG Q70 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate, the same video quality and the same sensor size, the LG Q70 also counts with a much more mega pixels back facing camera.
LG Q70 counts with a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3700mAh.
