Samsung Galaxy M31 is much better than LG Q70, getting a score of 86.5 against 77.9. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy M31 has newer 11 version and LG Q70 has Android 10, giving lots of additional features. Even though Samsung Galaxy M31 and LG Q70 were released only 2 months apart, the Samsung Galaxy M31 body is a little bit lighter but also just a little thicker.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has just a bit better looking display than LG Q70, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a bit better display density and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The LG Q70 counts with a much better memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the LG Q70 also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with a bit better processor than LG Q70, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a much better camera than LG Q70, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a lot bigger camera sensor shooting way better quality videos and photos and a back facing camera with a way higher 64 mega pixels resolution.
Galaxy M31 features a way better battery performance than LG Q70, because it has a 50 percent bigger battery size.
