Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ1 has a general score of 78.3, which is just a bit better than the LG Q70's 77.9 score. Even though Sony Xperia XZ1 is noticeably older than LG Q70, it's body is just a little bit thinner and much lighter. Sony Xperia XZ1 features a bit more powerful processing unit than LG Q70. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount.
The Xperia XZ1 counts with a little sharper screen than LG Q70, because although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch. The LG Q70 counts with a bit better camera than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a tinier camera sensor offering a lower image quality, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the LG Q70 also counts with a way more mega-pixels back facing camera and a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light photos.
Xperia XZ1 has as much memory for apps and games as the LG Q70, they have equal internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG Q70 features a much longer battery life than Xperia XZ1, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 2700mAh.
Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG Q70, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG Q70. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ1, otherwise you can save some money and get the LG Q70, giving up a couple features and specifications.
