Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ3 is a little bit better than the LG Q70, getting a score of 79.6 against 77.9. Despite of the fact Sony Xperia XZ3 is older and somewhat thicker than the LG Q70, it's construction is still just a little bit lighter. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia XZ3 has 9.0 Pie version while LG Q70 has Android 10.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a bit better processor than LG Q70. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Sony Xperia XZ3 features a better screen than LG Q70, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels density and a better 1440 x 2880 resolution.
LG Q70 counts with a very superior storage to install applications and games than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the LG Q70 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG Q70 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Xperia XZ3, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the LG Q70 also counts with a back camera with much more megapixels and a bigger aperture to capture better low light captures and videos.
The LG Q70 has superior battery lifetime than Xperia XZ3, because it has a 20 percent more battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG Q70, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG Q70. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the LG Q70, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
