The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is much better than the LG Q8, with an 87.1 score against 77.2. Although Huawei Mate 30 Pro is noticeably newer than LG Q8, it is thicker and extremely heavier. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 30 Pro has 10 version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
LG Q8 features a sharper screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a better quantity of pixels per screen inch and a slightly better 1440 x 2560 resolution. Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a bit superior CPU than LG Q8, because it has a larger amount of RAM and 4 more CPU cores.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro shoots way better photographs and videos than LG Q8, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also has a way bigger sensor capturing way higher quality videos and pictures, a larger diafragm aperture for better low light captures and videos, better video frame rates and a way more MP camera in the back.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro features a little bit better memory to store more apps and games than LG Q8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a really longer battery duration than LG Q8, because it has a 50% bigger battery size.
