The LG V30 is just a bit better than the LG Q8, getting a general score of 79.1 against 77.2. Although the LG V30 and LG Q8 were released only a few months apart, LG V30's design is just a little bit heavier but also just a bit thinner. LG V30 features a little better processing power than LG Q8, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the LG V30 also has a larger number of cores (and also faster).
LG Q8 has a bit better screen than LG V30, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel amount per display inch. LG V30 features a bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than LG Q8, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB, the LG V30 also has 64 GB internal memory.
LG V30's camera is very similar to the camera in LG Q8, because although the LG V30 has a smaller sensor which offers a worse photo and video quality, and they both have the same resolution camera, the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture.
The LG V30 has a little better battery performance than LG Q8, because it has a 10% bigger battery size.
