Comparison review
The Galaxy A12 has an overall score of 80.3, which is a little bit better than LG Q8's 77.2 score. Galaxy A12 is a a lot newer cellphone than LG Q8, but it is a lot heavier and somewhat thicker. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the Galaxy A12 has the older 10 version while LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 features a bit more powerful processing unit than LG Q8, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also has a greater number of cores. The LG Q8 has a lot better screen than Galaxy A12, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a lot greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Galaxy A12 has just a bit more storage capacity for apps and games than LG Q8, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits 976 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage capacity. Galaxy A12 counts with a bit better camera than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video quality, the Galaxy A12 also counts with a much more mega-pixels back facing camera.
Galaxy A12 counts with a really longer battery performance than LG Q8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
